(01)The brand concept
An online shop for an imagined homeware brand — warm, tactile and built to make browsing feel as good as buying.
Form & Found is a fictional homeware brand selling a small range of ceramics, glass and tableware made in limited runs. Its customers buy fewer, better things and want to know how they are made.
The challenge was to design a shop that feels like a beautifully kept store rather than a catalogue — while keeping the essentials of e-commerce clear: price, availability, delivery and an obvious way to buy.
(02)Design direction
Oat and plum tones, a soft characterful serif and photography given generous, unhurried space — closer to a magazine than a marketplace.

Objects for slower mornings.
Body — Manrope
A soft, slightly quirky serif for product names gives the brand warmth; a clean sans keeps prices and details easy to read.

Seasonal stories lead into products, so customers discover the range the way they would in a shop.

Materials, care and delivery answered in place, with one clear add-to-basket action.
Mobile shopping
A sticky basket bar, swipeable galleries and large, comfortable tap targets — designed for one-handed browsing.
(04)Desktop experience
An editorial homepage, a collection grid with filters and a product page with gallery, details and delivery information.

Swipeable gallery with a persistent basket bar. Every concept is designed for the phone first, then expanded for larger screens.
(06)Key decisions
Key design decisions
- 01
Stories before shelves
Short editorial moments explain how pieces are made, building the case for considered prices.
- 02
Calm product pages
Only the information needed to decide, with everything else tucked into tidy expandable sections.
- 03
Honest scarcity
Limited runs are shown factually — never with countdown timers or invented pressure.
