Privacypolicy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Northweave Studio collects through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Northweave Studio is an independent web design studio in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy at any time via our contact page.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through our enquiry form:
- your name and email address;
- your business name, if you provide it;
- the service you are interested in and, optionally, an approximate budget;
- anything you include in your project description.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you decide to work with us, to discuss and deliver your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and — where relevant — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell your information, add you to marketing lists or share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and processes basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages securely and protect against abuse.
- Resend delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox by email.
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and any legal or accounting obligations that follow. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it.
To make a request, contact us via our contact page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
